• University Storm Recovery Updates

    UPDATE: Tuesday, Oct. 29, 8:30 a.m.
We are pleased to announce that Wi-Fi service has been restored to the Asheville Center. Current students, faculty, and staff may now access the building for study, work or other necessary activities. Please note there may be occasional short outages as our service provider continues the recovery process.

Drinking water is not available in the building. Some bottled water is available on site, but we encourage anyone using the building to bring their own drinking water if possible. The bathrooms on site now have working toilets.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate the challenges posed by Hurricane Helene. Please stay tuned for further updates.

Campus Ministry

Faith and worship plays an important role in campus life. Whether you’re interested in bible study, spiritual renewal retreats, serving others on and off campus or learning more about spiritual life, Campus Ministry is open to every student, regardless of faith background.

Hickory Campus

Grace Chapel

A grand structure with arches that soar more than 53 feet above a tiled floor, Grace Chapel is a distinctive feature and a signature building on campus.

Because we are an institution of higher learning of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, our chapel embraces the worship style of the ELCA. However, we also honor the ecumenical traditions of other denominations.

Worship Service

Chapel services are every Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Grace Chapel, lasting about 30 minutes.

Columbia Campus

Our Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary on our Columbia campus holds daily chapel services when the seminary is in session. Daily worship begins at 11:30 a.m. (Eucharist on Wednesdays). Evening Eucharists are scheduled periodically during the year.
